Apologies for the delay on this release, we hit an issue while running tests, present in the Qpid Proton 0.9.x and we had hoped this would be resolved by now.

[PATCH 2.3.3-rc1] NULL Symbol causes crash
Patch for NULL symbol in subscribe causing crash.
Test is modified mamalistencpp.
I am working on the unit tests but they need more changes to make then work with any bridge/transport. Will send those

I tested the broker on a Fedora Virtualbox and the results were much better than on my Windows version. The performance was as good as with point to point for capturereplayc/mamalistenc

I must say, I have not heard of anyone using a NULL symbol to subscribe to the entire topic range for a source. A symbol list subscription would be the method

Running modified mamalistencpp and using a NULL symbol causes a crash.
Granted that NULL symbols are not that easy to use, and there is some argument that says if someone does that it is best

Also, I checked the queue depth. Publisher and Subscriber app had a depth of 0.

Oh - and with the broker implementation, you no longer require a separate transport for pub and sub unless they're on different subnets - you just point both sides to the broker.
